Coast to Coast: Our Journey

INDIGO's journey began nearly 40 years ago with a vision to become a leading Canadian parking operator. Through organic growth and strategic acquisitions of well-established Canadian parking companies, we have built a strong foundation of expertise. Our expansion across eight provinces and the establishment of regional offices in all major Canadian cities have been pivotal in delivering world-class services nationwide.

As the only parking operator with a presence from the Atlantic to the Pacific, INDIGO's extensive reach reflects our commitment to leveraging nationwide best practices and addressing the unique needs of local markets.

Environmental, social and governance commitment

We are strongly committed to environmental and social governance (ESG) excellence, setting a high standard for sustainability and accountability through initiatives like the Net Zero Challenge. Our efforts focus on cutting emissions from business travel, transitioning our fleet to electric vehicles, and expanding our EV infrastructure across Canada, all aimed at significantly reducing our carbon footprint.

Sustainability and ESG

The core of our Strategy

As a National parking and mobility operator, we place a strong emphasis on the environmental and social impact of our operations. What began as an early adoption of a Corporate Social Responsibility strategy has grown into a robust ESG approach. With a deep understanding of customers daily needs, we drive innovation to help communities transition to low-carbon, high-quality urban environments.

The Net-Zero Challenge

Aligned with our overall commitment, we actively support 4 of the UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals, improving urban life by balancing environmental impact, travel costs, and individual comfort. In 2021, we committed to achieving carbon neutrality for scopes 1 and 2 by 2025 through our Go for Climate plan, in line with the Paris Climate Agreement. This year, we expanded our pledge to include scope 3, aiming for net-zero emissions from business travel by 2050 and was awarded a Bronze Accreditation by the Net-Zero Challenge.
